Reader is part of the Platphorm News Network. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your data.

Data We Collect

• Text for Reading: The main hover, paste, and file workflows run in your browser. Reader does not send that text to its API.
• Language Preferences: Your selected target language is stored locally in your browser.
• Public Request Metadata: Public APIs can retain bounded, redacted, in-memory request summaries until the current server instance stops.

Third-Party Services

Reader can inspect these fixed PlatPhormNews sources without sending reading text:

• The canonical network graph at platphormnews.com
• The canonical sitemap index at base.platphormnews.com
• Optional trusted translation enrichment only when an API caller explicitly requests it

Data Retention

Browser-local reading text is not retained by Reader servers. Protected analytics summaries are in-memory and disappear when the server instance stops; Reader has no configured durable analytics or settings store.

Your Rights

You can clear your browser's local storage at any time to remove language preferences and locally opened text. Reader exposes no durable user profile or server-side settings record to delete.
